Coming from the Southeast Vakinankaratra Region, our Rhubarb has a fresh scent with citrus notes and a slippery texture that melts in your mouth. The rhubarb from Madagascar is also a classic example of
“La Terroir”- a French term that describes the environmental factors that affect plants. In Europe, the rhubarb is purple-red, but in Madagascar, they are green. Taste-wise, it keeps its tardiness yet plays gentler. You will also find a taste of lime which blends in perfectly to make this a super fine jam.
