Returns & Exchange Policy

At Green Collective, we curate eco-friendly and sustainable products that we stand behind. We want every purchase to be a good one — for you and for the planet. Because many of our products are personal care, wellness, or hygiene items, our policy is designed to balance your protection with product integrity.

Please read this policy carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from thegreencollective.sg, you agree to the terms below.

1. Policy Scope

This Returns & Exchange Policy applies exclusively to orders placed on thegreencollective.sg and shipped within Singapore. It does not apply to:

  • International orders (outside Singapore)

  • In-store purchases at our physical retail location

For in-store purchase queries, please contact our store team directly.

2. General No-Return Policy

Due to the nature of our product range — which includes menstrual care, personal hygiene, wellness, and consumable eco-products — we do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect selection, or personal preference.

This is consistent with industry practice across Singapore eco and wellness retailers. Once a product has left our fulfilment facility, we are unable to guarantee the hygiene or storage conditions it has been kept in, and we are committed to protecting all customers' health and safety.

Products that CANNOT be returned or exchanged:

  • Menstrual care and intimate hygiene products (e.g. menstrual cups, period underwear, pads)

  • Opened personal care items (skincare, body care, oral care)

  • Consumables and food-adjacent products

  • Items purchased on sale, clearance, or with a promotional discount

  • Products without original packaging or proof of purchase

  • International orders


3. Exchanges (Singapore Orders)

3.1 Eligibility

We offer exchanges for unused, unopened products in their original condition and packaging, subject to the conditions below:

3.2 How to Request an Exchange

  1. Email us at orders@thegreencollective.sg with your order number and the reason for the exchange request.

  2. Our team will confirm eligibility within 1–2 business days.

  3. Bring the product (unopened, with original packaging) and your proof of purchase to our store within 7 days of the original purchase date.

  4. Our in-store team will process your exchange for an item of equal or greater value (you pay the difference if higher).

Note: Exchanges are subject to stock availability. Green Collective reserves the right to decline an exchange if the product does not meet the conditions above.

4. Returns & Refunds for Damaged or Expired Products

We take quality seriously. If you receive a product that is damaged in transit or has expired at the time of delivery, you are entitled to a full refund or replacement. This is the only circumstance under which we accept returns.

Valid reasons for a return / refund:

  • Product was visibly damaged during delivery (broken seal, crushed packaging, leaking contents)

  • Product received is past its expiry or best-before date at the time of delivery

  • Incorrect product delivered (wrong item, wrong variant)


4.1 How to Report a Damaged or Expired Product

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order at orders@thegreencollective.sg or via our website contact form.

  2. Include your order number, a clear photo of the damaged or expired product, and a photo of the packaging it arrived in.

  3. Our team will review and respond within 2–3 business days.

  4. Upon verification, we will offer a full refund to your original payment method or a replacement item, at your preference.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (credit/debit card, PayNow, GrabPay) within 5–7 business days after approval.

6. Important Notes

  • All decisions regarding returns, exchanges, and refunds are made at the discretion of Green Collective management.

  • Green Collective reserves the right to decline any request that does not meet the conditions stated in this policy.

  • We reserve the right to update this policy at any time. The version in effect at the time of purchase applies.

  • Proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt) is required for all exchange and return requests, without exception.

  • Products returned to us without prior approval will not be processed and may be disposed of.
