Batik is a textile art from the Nusantara archipelago where patterns are formed through repeated process of applying dye-resisting agent (e.g. wax) and colours on a piece of cloth. Join Tony of Anerd Gallery in this interactive and light-hearted talk about the development of batik around the region. Discover fun facts, misconception and pick up some modern fashion twisty tips during our live demonstration on how to rock an uncut batik cloth.
