Rocket (Arugula) is an edible annual plant in the family Brassicaceae used as a leaf vegetable for its fresh, tart, bitter, and peppery flavor. Older leaves can also be lightly cooked as a delicious spinach substitute, added to sauces, stir-fried or sautéed in olive oil. Rocket is mainly used in salads. It contains vitamin C, A and K and high in fiber.
