Where is it sourced?
Tunisian rosemary oil is a coastal, mediterranean herb. It grows well in the dry, temperate climates of the mediterranean. A woody shrub which grows upto 2 metres high, the leaves are plucked in the afternoon so the oils are at their most concentrated. They are then steam distilled to produce the essential oils we all use. Tunisian Rosemary has higher concentrations of 1,8 cineole, a compound that has been shown to reduce phlegm, clear the lungs, and stimulate blood flow when used in massage oils.
Caution
Never use any essential oil directly on your skin. Always dilute. Dilution ratio: 1 drop of rosemary oil in a 10ml bottle, 8-12 drops in a 30 ml bottle of carrier oil. If ingesting, the ratio should be 1 drop of rosemary oil to about 100ml (3.5 oz) of liquid. You can add it to your tea for a calming brew.
