We profoundly believe the chocolate industry does not need extra cocoa butter to hide off flavors derived from poor traceability or post-harvest control. This is why our bars from 70% cacao to 100% cacao are free of extra cocoa butter.

100% unroasted cacao:

– Unroasted cacao beans

99.8% cacao with Monk Fruit:

– Roasted cacao beans and pure Monk Fruit 0.02%.

85% unroasted cacao and 76% unroasted cacao:

– Unroasted cacao beans and unrefined cane sugar, nothing else!

80% cacao and 70% cacao:

– Roasted cacao beans and unrefined cane sugar, nothing else!

No Extra cocoa butter added!

Extra cocoa butter is added to dark chocolate to lower bitterness and astringency and hide other off-flavors. Although cocoa butter is not an "unhealthy fat", cacao's antioxidants are present in the beans, and not in the cocoa butter.

Moreover, the beans naturally have 50%-60% cocoa butter. Why do we need to add more?

65% cacao with specialty coffee:

– Cacao beans, unrefined cane sugar, specialty coffee, and cocoa butter.

56% cacao with Golden Berries:

– Cacao beans, unrefined cane sugar, freeze-dried golden berries, and cocoa butter.

52% cacao with milk and orange:

– Cacao beans, unrefined cane sugar, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, and organic orange.
